What does everyone think about the name Ireland? We seriously considered it for our last baby but ended up having a boy. I'm afraid it will be hard for some people to say, especially old relatives and kids. I hear lots of "Island's" in the future.

To me, since -lyn is such a common ending and is almost a throw-away, "Irelyn" really just emphasizes the presence of the word "ire" (http://www.yourdictionary.com/ahd/i/i0228700.html).
