Name the sibling
I'm not pregnant but my husband and I are thinking about a second child.
We have a daughter named Ria Emily. (feel free to share thoughts on that)
We live in India. I am not Indian but my husband is. Our child(ren) will however attend an international school and will likely be surrounded with more foreigners than Indians.
Any ideas on a name for a potential sibling?
Indian names tend to be hard to pronounce for others, especially my family. I don't mind common middle names, but common first names are not an option.

I do know Ria will get Diarrhea, Gonorrhea and Ria-Tard when she is in school though. My husband can take the blame, I chose a different name :p

I like Kiran and Lochan. Maybe Kavita but I couldn't see myself using them, they're pronounced different when spoken by an Indian person and I couldn't imagine not being able to pronounce my own child's name correctly!
Thank you, it was really kind of you to search

Ron's sister-in-law's name is Suki, and besides her being a sweetheart, I think her name is just about the cutest thing ever. I don't know if it's short for anything, though.

The reason I say "wist" and not just "ist" is that is the closest way that I can think of pronouncing the "ou" sound. It's a pretty name.

Some other suggestions:
Anisha
Alesha
Ishya (always loved this one too, it means 'spring'!)
Nina
Mena
Chandra
Eleni
Asha
Good luck!

Nina is a lovely name and I do like Asha. I liked that you've picked girls names too, I think if we had a boy instead of a girl he would still be "baby Boy P____"

Here's some ideas:
Amala
Asha
Jaya
Kala
Kali
Sari (I can see potential issues with that though...)
Uma
Aaron
Arun
Devon/Devin
Jay
Kai
Raj (I've always personally liked that one)
Rama
Ravi (I know a man who's half Indian and his name is Mitchel Ravi)
Rohan

Asha and Kali I like, and I have once considered Rohan and Jay. My husband is Rajiv so Raj would be out for us. Kai leaves me pondering...

Sreedevi
Karishma
Uma
Krishna (She was a girl, thought it was an interesting idea)

Sonali
Then for boys Ravi and Nikhil.
