 Hello. I am absolutely in love with the name Ellie. But I don't want to name her (if in fact it is a girl. I am only 14w3d LOL) just Ellie. I want Ellie for a nickname. Only name I can come up with is Eleanor that can use Ellie as a nickname. My grandmother was Eleanor and while I don't HATE it, I don't love it. My grandmother hated her name and would roll over in her grave if I named a daughter after her! Plus my husband does not like it at all. So help please. What is a name I could use Ellie as a nickname for?

it's so weird you mention this name, because one of the managers at my store has a daughter named Elly. i just met her today, so it's funny that i come online and find a post about Ellie lol.
