How do you pronounce the name Evelyn? I never even considered that there was more than one pronunciation, but then yesterday I went to see The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (it was really good) and Judi Dench's character was named Evelyn, pronounced like "Eve-lyn," two syllables.

I've only ever heard it pronounced with three syllables, closer to "Ev-uh-lyn."

I don't actually care for the name, I'm just now wondering what pronunciation is more common and popular.

New Baby

My cousin and his wife had a baby last week. Joshua John Moxley (last name) and Ashley (no idea about mn) welcomed Hudson John Peyton (last name). I like Hudson John. My other cousin (his sister) went surname-y with her kids too - Riley and Landry.

I'm the only kid free cousin not college age and I'm the one who likes to name people LOL
