I need some crazy, good, legit boys names. Starting with the letter "E" or "em" sound is a bonus. Nothing that ends in an "er". For reference, mom is Sara Jane, dad is Emiel and daughter is Savarra (Arabic music scale or something) Marie (family name). Names they like, but shouldn't use: Sebastian, Hubert (nn Hu, Hue, Hugh, however you do it), Myron (family name), Emmerick (not a name... would like it better as Emerick or something? I don't like Merrick, or whatever, in any form) and Wallace (nn Wally). So, I'd say style is old man/made up/out-there, lol. I want them to like Greek names, but I don't see them feeling it. Help me help them!!!

My husband and I are expecting our second child, a boy, due May 1st. Our daughter is 15 months old. Her name is Aida (just becuase we liked it) Samantha Jane (after me, my real name is Samantha Anita Maria, but my Mom would always call me Samantha Jane so the Jane part is kind of a tribute to my Mom as well.).

So, in the spirit of matching names, we were set on naming this little guy Harvey Emery Dean. Harvey just because we like it, Emery after my husband and Dean is my Dad's middle name.

However, pretty much since the day I met my hubby he has talked about naming his son after him. Which I'm pretty okay with in the sense that I like the name Emery, it fits all my criteria for name-liking and sounds good with my daughters name (Aida). The part that I don't like is the idea of calling him Big Emery/Little Emery or something to that effect his entire life.. I definitely don't want him to have the exact same name as his Dad, but using the first name the same would be fine, if I can swing it. My brother-in-law's name is Emanuel Jacob and he goes by E.j. So naming my son Emery Jr. and calling him a cute nickname like E.j. won't work because that's already in use in the immediate family.

Can you help me come up with something where we could name my son Emery but also have a nickname for him? I thought Emery Jr. could be M.j. but I think thats kinda pushing it, if you know what I mean? I don't know.

The only requirements in this "game" are that the first name needs to be Emery, and he needs to have two middle names. Our last name is Rodriguez so if that can play into the nickname somehow that would be fine.

Thanks! I hope this made sense,.. lol :)

oh my gosh

worst name evar

Ophelia June Whipple.

she's Ophelia Whipple. Feela Nipple. I cannot believe my ex named her daughter this. She obviously didn't think about the baby's father's name. Not to mention Ophelia is a terrible cursed name to begin with.

Owen Wilson and his girlfriend Jade Duell named their newborn son Robert Ford Wilson.
Robert is Owen’s father’s name

It is indeed a boy for Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom. Confirming widespread speculation, son Flynn arrived on Thursday, Jan. 6.

Nick Names; This or That

Mostly just a compiled list of names with possible nicknames, but I thought it would be fun for you guys to choose your favourites =] In Australia, we can pretty much make a nickname out of anything!

Note: some of these may be a tad far fetched, lol.

So the creative spelling thing comes to Portugal - a thing I never thought would happen, as we have a strict list of names you can name a child, with little to no margin to spell things differently. There's a loophole, though: if one of the parents is foreign-born or has double nationality (like me), they can name the child whatever they want.

Thus, tv personality Luciana Abreu and footballer Yannick Djaló (born in Guinea-Bissau) have named their daughter:

Lyonce Viiktórya

This will not go well in a country where half the girls are named Ana.
