After being without Internet for 3 weeks, it feels good to be back in my favorite community! :)

Another college acquaintance had a baby: Lydia Marie

Some other names I have encountered recently:

Darby (f)
Corbin
Tyler
Alouette (f, not entirely sure of the spelling)
Campbell (f)

All of these were children age 6 and under.

What do you think of Therese (pronounced te-RE-zə)?

What would you pair with it?

"Model, author and Emmy-nominated host of Top Chef Padma Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday," her rep tells PEOPLE.

Last month, Lakshmi dropped hints about her daughter's name, saying, "I am going to name the child an Indian name. It will be after someone in my family, so don't expect to see an Anglicized name – it will be a classically Indian Sanskrit name."

WDYT?

Giving baby boys names that sound like American Gladiators.

Here are 3 examples I heard in the past few weeks: Slade, Talon and Dash.

Hi there name experts! I am pregnant with baby #3 and would like some name suggestions if possible! I'm not finding out the sex, though I have a feeling about it being a girl. I have a girl and a boy already and their names are Gabriella Devorah (Gabbie) and Zachary Elan. We are Jewish and the names need to be at least somewhat Jewish in origin - both my kids have Hebrew names that match their English names (Gavriella and Zachariah) - and their middle names are Hebrew / Israeli without the English translation.

Now, for this child, I would like to name him / her after my grandmother whose name was Selma (Hebrew name Sarah) and Uncle whose name was Jack (Hebrew name Yankel / Yaakov). I don't want to use the name Sarah because it sort of rhymes with my name (Dara) and I can't use Jack because it rhymes with Zach (even though we don't call him that) and plus my last name ends with -off and I don't think it's a good idea! So I'm looking for other S and J (or Y) names. For a girl, I really like Sabrina and I'm thinking Sabrina Yakira right now. For a boy, my husband likes Jacob, but it's just so common! All I can think of is Samuel Jacob or Jacob Samuel, but I don't even really like Samuel, and plus that doesn't follow the pattern of a Hebrew middle name - it would have to be Jacob Shmuel or Samuel Yaakov.

My husband tends to be picky about names and I'd love to have a bunch of ideas to present him with, so fire away! Thanks!
