Girls name, boys name or just unisex?

I decided a while ago that this is going to be my daughters name, but 2 people in the last day have said it's a boys name?

I must say, the fact that there's only one really off putting name in here impresses me.  That name would be Frankie Frank (First Name Last Name) btw.

My husband and I have the very German last name of Raeder and I was wondering what everyone's favorite Germanic names are.  So, what are they?  Thanks in advance!

What's the proper spelling for this name in English? Jasmin or Jasmine?
And is there always a difference in pronounciation?
I would pronounce Jasmin as JAZ-min and Jasmine as Jaz-MEEN, but is it steady like this or have you ever found for example Jasmine pronounced JAZ-min?
It's a tad confusing to me lol

My husband poked around in one of the baby names books we have, and his new favorite name is Vega. It is listed in the book as an exclusively female name but as far as my searches on the internet show, its a boys name?

I actually kind of like the name, but its going to take a little time to grow on me. Our daughter will be of mixed race--I'm caucasian and my husband is half hispanic half asian which I think makes a little bit of a difference in naming her. I'd like something a little more unique/ethnic.
