For what names could Betty/Bettie/Bette be a nickname?

All I can come up with is Elizabeth. You all are so much help when it comes to these scenarios :)

Do we hate Alicen? And if so, how much? lol

I like Alice a lot but I think I'd like it to be more of a choice as a nn rather than the full name. I feel like with Alicen you could have Alice, Ali, or Alicen.

I didn't make it up and it's not a cree8tv spelling... lol

So, I'm two and a half months pregnant and trying to get a head start on baby names. :) I am apposed to boring or popular names since I've been pained with the name Ashley. I want my child's name to be unique, but not too weird or kry8tiv. I'm looking for names that look kind of normal but aren't popular. Anything you guys can throw out there that's similar to these names would be much appreciated![Poll #1429187][Poll #1429187]

I met a 51 year old man named Happymore yesterday. Made me think of Happy Gilmore, but obviously this gentleman was born waaay before that movie was made.

Also met a 60 something woman named Fern. I commented that she has a lovely name and she replied that I was the third person that day to tell her so. She went on to say that something so simple just made her day and "filled her with smiles" :-) She was such a sweet old duck. Do you compliment others on their name if you like it? Do you ever ask about people's names or do you feel that would be too intrusive?

What do you all think of a sibset where two names begin with the same letter and the third does not?

Example:
Noah
Nathan
Abigail

Also...what do you think of that sibset? :-P For the record, I don't mind the popularity...I just want to know how it sounds to you all as a sibset.

TIA!

So my friend had her baby girl last night. They named her Emily Grace... I think it's a lovely name albeit a bit ordinary, but I still like it. Better than some of the other choices other friends have come up with :/

Also: what do you think of the name Eileena (I-lean-uh)? Personally, I really like it. It's a lot less dated than Eileen, at least. Thoughts?

And seeing that I'm seriously considering this name, do you think Eileena Allison is a bit too difficult to get your tongue around? I want Allison as the middle name after my mother.

Came across this the other day. It's a brother and sister and was even noted that those are their names. I guess in case you doubted the atrocity.

Princess and Fortress

I really like the name Jefferson as a middle name (yes, in honor of Thomas Jefferson). However, my dilemma is that I can't think of a first name that it goes well with. My favorite boys' names are James, Vincent, Felix, Aaron, and Benjamin, but I don't see it as going well with any of those.

What would you suggest?

Title pretty much says it all; these are just a few names that I've seen at work (mostly on tattoos), and read, on resumes and in newspapers.

Saila
Nola Evangeline
Chloe, Charity (twin girls)

Steaven, with son Seth
Cody, Tristan (brothers)

WDYT? As soon as I saw Nola Evangeline, I thought it was gorgeous. As soon as I saw Steaven, I was wondering what the deal was with the A.

Just saw an entry with these names in it. I suppose they are girls, not sure of their ages. I kind of cringed..>.>

Mallika and Labeena

EDIT: There is a guy that I've been hanging out with named Philip Richard Carroll. WDYT? I kind of like it.

Yesterday my mom and I were talking about baby names (it's a tradition between us and I either usually floor her with really bad or creative ones or impress her with a few.) and I already told her that my first son would be named Christopher after my late cousin who left us all in 2003 (Christopher Blake). So now we are discussing middle names. As I can't make a poll I would like to know what you guys think of these names I came up with and which one you think is the best.

1. Christopher Dominick
2. Christopher Khalil
3. Christopher Sebastian
4. Christopher Josiah

Thanks!

I am looking for suggestions of girl names that are real names, but extremely uncommon/unpopular. My husband likes very original names-- as close as you can get to a made-up name without actually being a made-up name.

Help?
