The top 100 baby names of 2005 are out already! The social security site never releases the top 1000 until May, but this looks legit to me!

Thoughts?

Edit: Looking closer, it's just the top names from surveyed babycenter members, not the official list for the US. That makes more sense, but it's still interesting.

Do you like or hate your name and why?

Edit: My name is Adriana. When I was younger I wanted a middle name because my older sisters have one but now I come to think, what is there a good middle name for Adriana. I really didn't have an opinion about it till recently. I think it's a nice name only if I didn't know 5 other Adrianas already. But I think it's pretty neat name because it is ethnically ambigious name and no has mispronounced it even though some people say it differently. And it doesn't hurt that 2 of the hottest supermodels have it. (Adriana Lima and Adriana Sklenarikova/Karembeu)

My husband and I are having a little boy in February. We thought we had chosen the perfect name for him. We chose the name Daniel Galway, which holds a significance to us: Daniel is my husband's name, and we decided that our first child's name would honor him long ago, and Galway is from a song that my husband sings to me. The name holds a significance for both of us, obviously. Now, our dilemma lies in the addition of a third name. My uncle's name was Nicholas, and he recently passed away. We've given into my parents' convincing and are looking to add the name Nicholas to our son's name. My family doesn't want the baby to have two middle names and neither does my husband.

Do we:

1. Get rid of "Galway" and have him be Daniel Nicholas.

2. Name him Nicholas Galway and save Daniel for another child.

3. Name him Galway Nicholas

4. Find another name altogether.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? (Hopefully I make sense!)
