It's been awhile since I've posted in here due to us having our names picked out or at least half decided on early on.
Anywho, we still are decided on Lyric Marie for a girl and we had agreed on Matthew Allen for a boy but due to recent events I have changed my mind.Any of u who haven't read any of my posts lately my babys dad and I aren't together but had been making a lot of plans and suddenly a couple weeks ago it just went down hill and because of his actions I have decided if we have a boy to name him after a friend of mine from childhood who passed away a couple years ago.
So if we have a boy his name will be Joshua Allen after my friend, but we will still put the Allen part on there. Allen is the owner of the bar we met at thru friends and are regulars at which to him kinda makes us family.Sooo since it's an important part of how we met we thought it would be nice to use his name for a middle name.

My SO doesn't understand why I would want to name my son after Josh no matter how much any of us try to explain it.Anyone have any ideas?All he says is that I better not think we're naming our son after a dead person as if I'm just picking a name randomly from a tombstone or something.grrr

Enough rambling, sorry.lol
So what does everyone think of the name Joshua David Allen?Honestly, no hard feelings if u tell me u don't like it. :)

He's not kind of being a douchebag right now, he totally is one!!
Exactly, we've all tried to explain to him that there are plenty of deceased Matthew's/Matthew Allen's around the world.

Hmmm, drew a blank for how to write what it was I was going to write.lol But anywho, the guy I was sleeping with before dating him was a friend w/ benifits and I think he may think that because I've had relationships like that with a couple guy friends I probably have w/ them all and therefor he doesn't want our son named after one.I also think it may be because it's not someone he knew or a family member thats deceased but when we started talking boy names I asked him if he would like to use his dad/grandfathers names as a middle name and he was VERY against it so tough luck i guess, I tried.But the way I see it, his behavior lately is kinda saying he doesn't care about much other then himself therefor it's been decided amoung my girls, mom, and I that his name will be Joshua. :)

So by SO you meant your baby's dad that you're not with anymore? I was assuming you meant someone you were actually in a relationship with now. That was kind of confusing.

Sorry to be confusing...we're not actually together right now but still call each other the SO.It's just easier that way I guess since we're still very much in each others lives for our child thats on the way.
