For me it is any common one syllable name like Jane, James, John, Rose, Ann. Of course there are some that have more than one syllable like Louise and Marie

First names? I don't think they're filler names if they're used as a first name because they seem to be more common as middle names (I could be wrong, but that is just my perspective).
