What do you all think of the name "Evar" I'm not sure where it came from (I'm from Alabama) but I knew a lady named this and then the lady's granddaughter had it as a middle name. I think it's kinda cute...The older lady pronounced hers as "E-var" long e sound. The granddaughter pronounces hers as "ever"
Has anyone else ever heard this name? Anyone know the meaning/origin?

I always get a kick out of telling that story. I noticed when we were in Rhode Island a lot of people had that same accent as well.
