How do you pronounce Imogen?
Is the emphasis on the hard "O" sound? Or do you just kind of skip over the O or give it an "A" or "eh" sound instead, like in Isobel?

I've only ever seen this name written down. I think I like it, but I don't think the first pronunciation sounds very feminine.

See, I've never heard anyone say Imogen Heap out loud before. I always read it im-OH-gen, then I realized that it probably doesn't have a strong "O" sound. My brain has trouble processing it any other way for some reason.

I was pretty much the same way as you--I didn't know of it until I read it in a children's novel, and there I thought it was incredibly pretty. When I said it aloud I really disliked it.
