Bree

I have a girl in my grade whose name is Bree, and I really like it!
It's not her full name, it's her middle name (Breanne) but I suppose she doesn't like her first and chooses to go by her middle.

What do you guys think? Can it be a name on its own or should it only be a nickname?

Breanne is a very pretty, feminine name and Ursula- quite the opposite!

yeah, I don't know if I'm biased by the sea witch in The Little Mermaid, but it makes me picture this aggressive, controlling, bitter elderly woman :P

I'm probably biased because of that too- but 'U' names don't tend to be beautiful. :P

that is true, and they're also few and quite uncommon. I think the only one I like is Ulla (OOL-lah), which is sometimes used in german as a nn for Ursula.

Ulla is probably the only 'U' name I like- and that's stretching!
