do you, or anyone you know, go by a nickname that is completely different than your/their real name?

for example: my cousin is named Carl Timothy lastname, but he has always been called Zeke. in fact, i didn't know his name wasn't Zeke until like five or so years ago haha.

I know a guy named Trey, and I just found out that his name is actually Wayne, but turns out he's a third. Not quite the same thing but I would've never known had his girlfriend not mentioned it randomly.
