do you, or anyone you know, go by a nickname that is completely different than your/their real name?

for example: my cousin is named Carl Timothy lastname, but he has always been called Zeke. in fact, i didn't know his name wasn't Zeke until like five or so years ago haha.

and I know an Elizabeth who always goes by Lisa..which isnt too far off but still
