too late to change it?
Sep. 15th, 2007 09:35 pmhey all...my baby girl will be 12 weeks old tomorrow and i've still not warmed up to her name. naming her was a huge ordeal which ended in me locking myself into the bathroom at the hospital. i won't go into details but needless to say, neither of us got our first pick of names. we named our daughter ... scarlett june. now, i love scarlett and was surprised that he okayed that but june is to honor a family member and neither of us are crazy about it.
here's my question...
how many people think it's too late to change the spelling of june to joon? i suggested it in the hospital but he was so over the name that he couldn't process the alternative spelling. now, he and i both wish we had spelled it like that.
we're not real conservative people and walk a little on the wild side. hell, she was almost named michi calypso (mee-chee) so "joon" just goes better with our family than boring old "june".
whaddaya think?
