I've been incessently bothering my husband about figuring out a boy's name before our ultrasound. He thinks he likes Jayden Paul (which uses my father's middle name), and I like it.

It's not my first choice, but what do y'all think?

Picking a name that's trendy or common doesn't bother me like it bothers some people.

I'm one of those mommies who'd like to find their kids names on mugs at Disneyworld someday.....without having to say, *Oh, Dakotah, they don't have yours* or *Bryndollynne, I just didn't want you to have a name like everyone else's*.

Kids get picked on for having off-brand jeans. I'm not going to curse my child with extra, unneccessary *y*s or *h*s.

Uniqueness is part of your personality, not your sticker name.

Like Jayden? While it's trendy to spell it that way, that doesn't mean it's not misspelled. You're adding extra letters to a trendy name that was only made to sound cute with Aiden. How is that any better than an H in Dakota?
