I didn't know it was a bible name! It reminded me of Yael (her dad's Jewish.) Is it a variant of the name?

I think Jael is the woman in the bible who lured an evil king into her tent, fed him, waited for him to fall asleep, and then put a tent spike through his head. I think that's her.

yes Jael is the English version of Yael (and is pronounced Yah-elle). Many names that have Ys in Hebrew have Js in English ie Yaakov/Jacob Yosef/Joseph Eliyahu/Elijah etc

to me Jay-elle just sounds like initials, not a name.
