I personally like the latter better, but the former is pretty nice.

My mum says Sorcha is terrible, especially if you ever try to apologise to her.

Seriously though, i was sent to a shrink because everyone thought i was mental.
I rarely talked much, kept things to myself. So obviously when i did talk, and i talked weird like that.. people just sort of avoided me. :)

OH AND I HAD A LISP TOO.
I swear, i was a loner for years. What amazing memories, lmfao.

I like lisps too, i'm just too self concious.

Once i got over my weird stage, i got REALLY self concious of myself, and constantly started working on my lisp..
Now i can talk pretty normally, if i watch what i'm saying.. which is pretty much a habit now.
But every once in awhile, i slip up.

My name is "Kortni".. *waits for the flamethrowing snarkers to comment on the atrocious spelling*

(I changed it to Kortni about 10 years ago, from Courtney.. i detest that spelling so MUCH)

But, i can't pronounce my last name at all. It's jewish, which doesn't help. But because of my lisp over the years.. there is a G in the middle, which i cannot say for some reason.

My last name is "Nagelkop" urrrgh. Just horrible, but maybe only because i grew up with it, and i had the nickname "bagel cock" (not kidding either)

I don't know why though. I think because i knew about 20 different Courtney's over the course of my life.. (even after i changed it). And it just seemed so unoriginal to me.
I know it's the person that counts, not the name. But i just really wanted something different.
I didn't change it legally.. my parents would be pretty disappointed in me if i did. So i still use it on legal documents.. and birthday cards :)

I think one of the only reasons i like my last name is because we're the only family in Canada with it. So that is pretty unique, heh.

I like Kortni though.. as crazy a spelling as it is, it's different. Not too many people use it.
