Madison vs. Addison

It seems like Madison is a name that a LOT of people can agree they don't like... but then it also seems like half of the people who don't like Madison will say they like Addison. WTF? To me they are both really tacky... how can you like one but not the other? They're practically the same! I think Addison sounds even more boyish than Madison but I truly don't like either.

I've always thought of Madison as a boys name... growing up there was a boy at my school a few years younger than me with that name (small school) - I almost feel bad for him now that he must be 18 or so and there's a whole race of little girls with the same name as him!

Either way, I hate both :)
