apparently she didn't mean anything by it, I mean, after she realized that not everyone's okay with judgemental assholes. *eye roll*
Yes some teenagers give their kids stupid names. Some 20ish people give their kids stupid names. Some people in their 30s give their kids stupid names. Trying to assign it to just one group regardless of what 'your experiences' are is just stupid and offensive. I've seen it happen in all age groups, and if you're paying more attention when it happens to one group then that's probably what makes it 'your experiences'.
Generalizations based on age are just wrong, and young parents have enough to face that they don't need holier then thou wenches either judging their parenting abilities or their naming abilities or their intelligence just because they're young.
Well, let's think about it...if you're calling me a "judgmental asshole" for one idle comment, what does that make YOU? You don't even know me. Generalizing much?
Get over it. The world is full of much bigger issues.
Something tells me that xnaivetex is a teen mom who named her kid something preposterous. Defensive, much? College educated women don't GENERALLY give their kids dumb names. That doesn't mean that they never do, just that they know the idiocy of Taelyr Smith, M.D. Like it or not, names are rife with class issues. YOU are the ignorant one.
