it's not any worse than naming a boy angel or ashley. in ireland there are boys named colleen. colleen means girl. a strong handsome name for a girl isn't a bad thing.

I've heard Colleen isn't even really a name in Ireland -- it means "girl," and it's a name Irish-Americans use, like Kelly or Shannon.

Naming a boy Angel is REALLY REALLY BAD. So is naming a girl Llewellyn.
