Dec. 20th, 2006 08:00 pmMy teacher and his wife had their first daughter today/yesterday. They named her Charlie Victoria.
I think it's pretty. I'm pretty sure the 'Charlie' is after Chaplin, as he is a die-hard Chaplin fan, and a Drama teacher. I think Charlie isn't too bad on a girl.
You?

Date: 2006-12-21 01:37 am (UTC)Charlie's cute, but might look a little weird on a class attendance list.
That actually happened to me once.
I had a guy in my class called Ashley and he put his hand up and the substitute thought he was joking and sent him to the office. :/

Date: 2006-12-21 10:42 pm (UTC)Besides, it just clashes so horribly with Victoria, which is a serious, old-fashioned name...if they were going that route, they should've made her Charlotte Victoria, and just gone for Charlie as the nn.

Should have saved it for a son and made him Charles Victor, lol.
