babynamesI just got married. (yay!)
And my last name is Hazzard now.
We are naming our first son John - who will be called Jack. I think it sounds ok. Jack Hazzard.
But we were agreed on naming the next child "Tom"
and now I'm falling in love with the name "Maxwell" and it's driving me nuts.
Would a child named Maxwell be automatically called "Max" by his peers?
Max Hazzard would just be mean, I think.

Date: 2006-12-13 05:54 am (UTC)That said, Max Hazzard is awesome. I see why you are reluctant, but if I was a guy and I was named Max Hazzard, I would think it was the coolest name ever :)
(And profesionally he would be Maxwell, so I don't think there'd be a problem with someone looking at his resume and subconsciously deciding he was bad news ;) )
