Kahikilakahauolaokalahou So can anyone tell me how on earth this childs name is pronounced?? I found it on the hospitals web nursery page.

Opinions on the name Heaven Lee? apparently this is the name given to my new neice.

Just think- would you name a child this and expect them to grow into it as an adult? I was a little brutal at first but seriously, a name like that is just cruel and not funny for the poor child that grows up with it. But then again, I'm not the one who has to raise someone who is angsty because their mom didn't consider the effects of a name like that. This is a child who will become an adult, not some teddy bear. You won't be spiting me but you will make your child have a name that's not unique but rather a fad that will be very dated.

If I were named Heaven Lee, I'd pretend my middle name was Emma, and go by that. I would never tell ANYONE my middle name.

What I love most about that name is it has 24 or so characters and only 6 letters. That's so great. In a not so much kinda way.

the poor child is already here and her given name is Heaven Lee. I personally am not thrilled with it at all but mom is very young and not well educated nor are the grandparents (my ex in-laws)

I assume the first name is of Hawaiian origin because I think I've seen it before and that's what my brain connects it with.

Kahikilakahauolaokalahou is a Hawai'ian name. Heaven Lee is quite trashy, IMO, but it could have been worse. Precious Princess Lee comes to mind.

It's funny because everyone says Heaven Lee has been over done, but I've yet to MEET a Heaven. I think it's actually pretty.
