Some celebrities aren't born with their beautiful names. So they are going to change it.

I don´t get it !!!

how does this work
you know celeb often change their names..
but shouldn´t their kids get their REAL last name ?
I´m a but confused about that at the moment
WDYT ?

e.g.

David Bowie = David Robert Hayward-Jones
kids :
Duncan Zowie Bowie

Michael Landon = Eugene Orowitz
kids :
Mark Fraser Landon, born October 1, 1948 (adopted)
Josh Fraser Landon, born February 11, 1960 (adopted)
Leslie Ann Landon, born October 11, 1962
Michael Landon Jr., born June 20, 1964
Shawna Leigh Landon, born December 4, 1971
Christopher Beau Landon, born February 27, 1975

etc etc

and what about : Dido = Florian Cloud de Bounevialle Armstrong ? eewww..I only know florian for a boy....

Plus you can name a child whatever you want. It's not a legal hand-me-down thing - you pick the last name.

and fathers surname is wood
you could pick the last name monaghan only because you like it ?

here is it only allowed to use the surname of the father or mother of the child ! nothing else !

Yeah. I've heard of couples combining the sounds or letters of both their last names for the child's last name.

There are state supreme court cases that limit it to certain reasons
