Do you know any other name besides Reuben, Benjamin and Benedict that can have Ben as a nickname?
Any language is fine. Thank you!

(Also, do you pronounce Reuben ROO-ben or REH-oo-ben? And is Ben as common as I've read? )

I've never heard of Ben as a nickname for Reuben (which I have never heard pronounced any other way but roo-bin) - I've known a few Reubens and all have gone by "Rube" for short.

Ben is common off of Benjamin, though, which is common.

I'm reading a book right now (one of my favorites) where the main character is Benjamina and she's called Ben, lol.

I used to know a guy named Benton who went by Ben (but he HATED Benton). I really like Bennett myself, more than Benjamin actually.

The one Reuben I knew was ROO-ben, no nn.

I also love Bennett (could it be because of my grandma's hot neighbor, ;)?) and have only heard Roo-ben.

Roo-ben. Never reh-oo-ben. Do you just not know how to pronounce it or do you actually know someone who pronounces it that way??

Bently?

Not an answer, but I just wanted to say how much I like Reuben, Benedict and Benjamin (the first two especially) and I love 'Ben'.
