Manon

I fell in love with the name Manon after hearing that Damian Lewis had named his baby daughter that. The only question is, how would you prounce it in an English speaking country? I know in French it is something like ma-NAW. If you met a little baby American Manon, how would you expect her to say it?

I hate to say it...but I am as American as they come and I want to say MAN-on, like "man on the moon." :/
