Matt Lauer and Wife Welcome a Baby Boy
Nov. 28th, 2006 04:36 pmMatt Lauer and his wife had a baby boy this morning. They named him Thijs, which is apparently a common Dutch name (Lauer's wife is Dutch) pronounced "Tice".
Personally, I don't like it. But, then, I'm not Dutch. I like the names of their other two children, Jack and Romy, though.

I've seen some boys names Tijs (which is more logical) but its not the normal way of writing this name
