In a restaurant today a lady had a son named Colten. I'd never heard this name before, and I immediately thought of a horse. I don't really like it.

That's how certain Americans pronounced the name of a former co-worker of mine - Carlton. Totally different pronunciation in our accent but they couldn't hear the difference.
