These names are supposed to be "truly inspired"? How about truly insane!

Bles'Id
God'Iss (I know this is supposed to be a capital i, but this name just looks like Godless to me)
Myr'Acle
Se'Heira
Achilles
Hermes (right, he'd get called Herpes as soon as the students had their first sex ed/health class)
Banana
Peapod (are we naming CHILDREN here??)
Beans
Pickle
Jelly (my sister's CAT's name)
Cashew
Gherkin (i don't even know where to begin!)
Tigger
Chrysler
Butterball (if you call your unborn baby this, fine. but that name needs to stay in the uterus and not be brought into the real world)
Espn
Ce'Qwoia (this one shows up twice on that website; I bet one of the editors made it up and thinks it really rocks)

I hope no one ACTUALLY reads this page and ACTUALLY uses their suggestions. Really, I hope it was an April Fools joke that they forgot to take off their site.

Ce'Qwoia? Why not use the REAL name instead of some Creative spelling crap????

There is a biology professor at my college who has a daughter named Sequoia. I know him through the county DFL though.

I like the name Achilles. I find nothing wrong with it... And that was the exception to the whole list.

That's because it's the one normal name mixed in with absurdities like butterball and gherkin O_o

Apparently these parents don't want their children to ever get jobs so they can support them when Social Security runs out.

I just started working for a staffing agency so I'm hearing some doozies.

Some people take the huge responsibility of naming their children far too lightly. While we shouldn't be limited to Dick and Jane, we shouldn't name people after networks or turkeys.

I think Banana, Peapod, Beans, Pickle, Jelly, Cashew, and Butterball are my favorite.

I think I'm going to name my baby PopTart or maybe AppleSauce.

Oh, my lord.

I HOPE the editor who put that page together was laughing his/her ass off, because there are maybe three decent names on the entire list.

I also hope nobody finds that page and decides Myr'Acle Pickle is exactly the right name for their little one. *shudder*

Achilles and Hermes aren't bad names, necessarily, but I don't know if I'd use them.

The rest are just horrific, though. Ce'Qwoia is absolutely insane.
