French names

I met a family from France today and the children were named:
Charlotte
Clemence (Clay-mohnce... the "n is very soft)
Etienne  (Ay-tee-ehn)

They were lovely.  What are your favorite french names, and which ones do you hate?

Oh I love French names! My favorites are Adele, Anouk, Lucie, and Oceane. Etienne is really nice, too.

I think Etienne is french for Steven or something along those lines.
Because I found somewhere that my name (Stephanie) in french would be Etiennette.
