Oct. 13th, 2006 10:10 pmWhat do you think about the name Kaylynn?
The boyfriend would want to spell it Kailynn.
Kailynn Nicole?
The only boy's name he likes so far is Evan...but we already have a Devon so I don't think that would work out too well. Haha.
He has two kids from his exwife.
Maynard James & Carter Jaymes.
And I have Devon Joshua.
I'm Katherine Carol, and he's Jeffrey Alan, but goes by Jay.
Any suggestions would be helpful...He's pretty picky.

Date: 2006-10-14 02:50 am (UTC)Kailynn is kind of pretty. Not a fan of Nicole; it's a trashy name to me (by my association, I'm sure).
Carter is nice, Devon was at one point long ago my favorite name so I still like it. Love Katherine and Jeffrey, as well as Jay. I like Evan a lot, but you're right - Devon and Evan? lol
:-D

Date: 2006-10-14 02:50 am (UTC)kay-lihn where as Kailynn is more of a kail-in. I like the first pronunciation and, therefore, the first spelling.

Date: 2006-10-14 03:00 am (UTC)I like James though, but why are the middle names of both his children James and Jaymes? Isn't that the same name?
Evan is nice though. If he likes that maybe Ethan, but it's fairly popular.

Karina
Katya
Katrina
Kezia
Kerensa
??
A less common name would certainly suit Maynard better, and would be nice with Devon and Carter as well.

Date: 2006-10-14 12:17 pm (UTC)What about for boys...
Alexander (Alex)
Ryan
Philip
Ethan
Christopher Jeffrey (CJ) since there seems to be a theme with J middle names in all the kids.. :)
i love the name Carter James :)

Date: 2006-10-14 12:27 pm (UTC)Evan is too close to Devon. I like both names, though. I love the name Devon Joshua.
How about Ethan? Ryan?
How far along are you? It seems most people on this list are not pregnant. I am 20 weeks along. ;)

Date: 2006-10-14 04:44 pm (UTC)All the Lyn names are, except possibly Caitlin spelt like this,as it's a traditoinal name/spelling. Also i'd be tempted so say Kailynn is too similar to your own name.
If i had to i'd spell it Cailin.
I love Devon Joshua.
Maynard James... a perfect circle/hole fan!?
I think James & Jaymes as middle names for brothers are ridiculous, no offence. Also Jaymes is a stuuupid spelling.

Date: 2006-10-14 10:11 pm (UTC)Plus it'll get lost in the sea of Kaylees, Kayleighs, Cadens, Jailynns, Kellys, and Kelseys, and all their various unfortunate spellings.
A suggestion? Almost anything but.

Date: 2006-10-15 01:17 am (UTC)I wouldn't pair it with Nicole though, instead I'd pair it with something more unique and perhaps meaningful (is there anyone you'd like to honour)? I really like "Kaylin Alana" (Alana to honour dad's middle name, plus it's a beautiful name and it flows very well).
