word names
Oct. 12th, 2006 07:32 pmWhat are some normal everyday words that you think would make great names, if only they weren't a word. e.g. Alien... if you can forget the meaning, I could imagine it being someone's name

Date: 2006-10-12 04:36 pm (UTC)I think Zinc might sound cool as a name if it weren't a word. Maybe Cinder? I don't think it would make a great name, but sounds enough like one. So many words have been made into names, so that might already be one. I can't think of anything that I think would sound great, but here are some words that could sound like names: simile, duet, ecstasy, envy, eucalyptus, martial, pawn, rosary, sable, saffron, zenith, allergy, chamois, pashmina..
Many words that sound like they could be names (that I come across) I'm afraid have already been used as such...even when they shouldn't be. I hope this post doesn't give people ideas. :p
