is ELIESSE pronounced like ELYSE?
everytime i see it, i want to pronounce it ELLY-ESS (like L-E-S)

i dont know either but i would pronounce it like elise but with a longer ee sound.

like ee-lee-s. if that makes any sense at all. im thinking of the name elie (as in the author elie wiesel), which is pronounced ee-lee.

I don't think it's real. Maybe someone thought they were being creative by using a confusing spelling.

For the "ee-leese/ah-leese" pronunciation, I've seen Alyce, Elise, Elyse.

I think it's probably pronounced the same way as Elise, because Anneliese and Annelise are pronounced the same way.
