Caiyghtealynne
Sep. 28th, 2006 08:10 pmThere's a girl in my choir class named Caiyghtealynne, pronounced CAY-tee-uh-lynn. The name it's self isn't too horrific, if it were spelled Katialyn or something, but that spelling is terrible.
WDYT?

Date: 2006-09-29 04:15 am (UTC)word, it's possible she was foreign or something and tried her best and uh... failed.
My friend's name is pronounced Donna, but her parents were foreign and spelled it phonetically as far as they would have figured... which was Dana.

Date: 2006-09-29 11:22 pm (UTC)I think that's pretty stupid, too, because Teal is only in the spelling, and not the pronounciation.
And to think that she could have gone by her middle name: Sarah.
