I saw a film recently where the main character had the name Jeliza-Rose.
What do you think about it and double first names in general? I'm not sure generally, but I kind of like this.

Also if you found a name in a book or film would you consider it for your future child even if the character's tale was tragic?
Or would you not be able to get past the association?

I absolutely would. Two of my favorite names are Juliet and Ophelia.

I like those a lot too. Love Shakespeare :)

I'm not a big fan of "double" names in general. I think they often sound a bit too cute or childish once a kid grows up.

Don't like Jeliza in itself either to be honest.
