hello!

i just joined. i'm not pregnant, nor do i plan to be anytime soon (unfortunately i have to finish school and make a good life for the invisible peanut space parasite before i allow it access to my womb) but i like names.

so for my first post, i'll post something my best friend and i were talking about last night:

Armistice.

we found it in a baby name book for boys, and we can't decide if it's totally stupid or really great.

we're thinking of listing it away under guilty pleasure names, of which i have several.

like WOLFGANG!

i can't help but love that name.

so what are YOUR really shameful guilty pleasure names that you could never use, but love anyway?

i LOVE genevieve, but only if it's pronounced the french way. "JZHAN-vee-EVV" instead of "jenna-veev."

yeah, the 'jenna-veev' pronunciation makes me think of jenna jameson, a cool chick but not someone i want associated with my baby girl....
