Because LJ keeps informing me that I can add polls to posts, even though obviously I know that and just have never done it before....
I think I'm beginning to like this girls' name a lot, though it's only in one name book I own. WDYT of Fontane?
I'm not a lover of too many F names besides Freja...well, I do like Fiorella (Fiorello for a boy), Fern & Florence. Until I thought of this one.
Now, which spelling do you prefer? (Or suggest something else?) I like both, but I’d vote for the -tane one myself. Not sure why…I only like Raine, for instance, spelled this way. Ah, well.

Date: 2006-09-14 10:00 pm (UTC)according to the book it's a French girls name meaning 'source of water' or something like that. Like, fountain.
I like the sound of it, personally..

Date: 2006-09-15 12:48 pm (UTC)and I like fountains, so maybe it just naturally puts nice thoughts in my head or something. xD Aside from a positive association I have with someone's 'la fontaine' surname (I think that's how he spells it..) and a few other weird associations that make me like it.
