It'd be used as a middle name to honor my daddy. I'm just curious about similiar names or names that mean the same as Wilton..William can't be used since that is our son's middle name. Thnx.

Wilton means 'town on the River Wylye', so you could use 'Wylye/Wylie/Wiley' as a variation. The meaning of 'Wylye' is possibly 'tricky'. There aren't a lot of names with that meaning. The closest to it that I could find would be 'Przemysł/Primislav/Primislaus' which means 'trick', but is probably more eclectic than you're looking for. There's also Dacre, which means 'trickling stream', which is sort of similarish, but a bit of a stretch.

Names that sound similar but aren't William:

Wilkie
Wilkin
Willis

You can see a family tree for William here (http://www.behindthename.com/name/will/tree), which gives several variations on the name with similar sounds.

Hope that helps some!
