It'd be used as a middle name to honor my daddy. I'm just curious about similiar names or names that mean the same as Wilton..William can't be used since that is our son's middle name. Thnx.

Wilton means 'town on the River Wylye', so you could use 'Wylye/Wylie/Wiley' as a variation. The meaning of 'Wylye' is possibly 'tricky'. There aren't a lot of names with that meaning. The closest to it that I could find would be 'Przemysł/Primislav/Primislaus' which means 'trick', but is probably more eclectic than you're looking for. There's also Dacre, which means 'trickling stream', which is sort of similarish, but a bit of a stretch.

nothing. i like it but i feared that it might be outdated since i haven't heard it on anybody except for my great uncle and my daddy who was named after my great uncle. i just wanted to c wat other names were out there that might work :) i'll probably end up using Wilton or Wilt like someone else suggested bc it was a nn for my great uncle soo i always found it to be really cute.

my husband likes that name :) i'm not sure how i feel about it bc of winston cigs and my brother has an uncle on his mom's side of the family named Winston who was an alcohol ::shrug::
