My husband and I are expecting our first,and it's a boy! We've had a girl name picked out forever (Cora) but boy names are tougher for us. What do you think of Benjamin, Cameron, Gabriel, or Isaac? Last name is two syllables, kind of sounds like the store Menards. What kind of person do you imagine for each of those names?

My cousin's daughter is Caroline who only goes by the nn Cora, as she gotten older I really love it, suits her perfectly & underused.

Quite a few people I know love Gabriel/Gabe but its NMS. I know two both go by Gabe and they're quite similar, sweet and very chatty/friendly.

Cameron is a bit too close to Cora.

Love Ben, in particular Isaac has grown on me lately. I only have positive associations with both names.

That's true, if we ever do have a second kid (I've hated pregnancy so much that I'm thinking "NO") I wouldn't really want alliterative names - that might cross Cameron off our list. Thanks!
