Sep. 2nd, 2006 10:40 pmFor those of you who are just simply interested in why & what certain people name their children, I'd suggest reading this: Chapter Six "Would a Roshanda by Any Other Name Smell as Sweet" of Freakonomics by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner.
It discusses why there are trends in certain names like Madison and Emma. I don't want to say anything specifically what the data said about what names were most common among low income/education and high income/education families since I know people would probably be offended.
I will leave you with the author's prediction of what could be Most Popular Names of 2015[or anytime sooner I'd presume]
