A theory...

Do some people become more partial to unusual or creative names when they actually have kids themselves? I remember before I was pregnant my husband and I used to talk about baby names and he said he liked the name Jonah. I hated it at the time and even said things like: "no way will I ever name a child that, what did the child do to me?", but when I fell pregnant and found out we were having a boy I decided that I did like it. We now have a son named Jonah and I have no regrets about our choice of name.

Also, I remember when Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz had a son named Bronx Mowgli and I was all like " WTFBBQ, what kind of a middle name is Mowgli?", and now I think it's a possible middle name if we have another boy one day.

Did anyone else's taste in names change or broaden when they had kids or is it just me? If you have any examples, post them here.
