After considering the pros and cons of the name Arabella, we have decided against it. It wouldn't be a cute name for an adult woman and I hate "Bella" or "Belle" which the child would more than likely be called.

How do you feel about the name Felicity?

Also, I find it amusing (I am not offended) by how everyone reacted to my name "Rohen" and how presise I was on the pronouncation and spelling. My original longing was to pronounce it "Rohan", but everyone kept on saying "Ro-hAn" when saying it. Or I got "row-win" like the spelling Rowan. I want more of a "Ro-in". Everyone told me to spell it "Rohen" and pronounce it to sound like hen. When I say it aloud, it sounds perfect... when I try to explain it... it's a mess.

I like Felicity a lot. Maybe not quite enough to use it, it is a touch frilly, but it's pretty and I love the meaning. And when everyone else says it reminds them of the tv show like that's a negative, Felicity was one of my favorite shows ever so I think the association is a good thing.

I do not like Arabelle largely because of Belle and Bella which I also hate.

I do like the name Ariella which seems similar to me. And I've known an adult Ariella and it suited her very well. It's a very pretty and unusual name. She got compliments all the time.

I do not understand the difference between row-win and ro-in.

I think I understand... and I think it's the way I already say Rowan. There isn't much W in that name to me. Same with Owen. It's not really O-wen, more like owin'.
