Some Recent Names

babynamesA week or so ago, I overheard the names of two small girls (sisters) while out to dinner: Beatrice and Rosie. Assuming Rosie is a nickname for Rose, I think the sibset is lovely.
A few days ago, I overheard the names of two elementary school age brothers: Bruce and Maximilian. Neither name is my style, and I feel like the set is off-balance because of the difference in length.
Two days ago, my sister-in-law told me the name of her friend's relatively new baby: Landon. Big brother is Josiah. I really like Josiah, and I really don't care for Landon. They seem like two totally different styles as well.
Finally, yesterday, my sister-in-law, knowing I love names, sent me a message about meeting a toddler girl named Charlotte. She thinks the name is lovely. I think it's really nice as well. In fact, it is a former favorite.
