Heard the name Carter last night when the fiancé and I went to Best Buy. For the first time, actually! I turned around and realized the parents were talking about their daughter, named Carter. Not going to lie, I was a little disappointed. I've only heard Carter on a girl from the movie, Princess Protection Program (can't believe I just said that).

I quite like it on a girl :) I have a racehorse with the name 'Doyly Carte' and I call her Carter for short.
