Dec. 22nd, 2012 01:54 amMy cousin's wife had her baby on the 18th, a girl they named Kaylee Victoria.
It's NMS but I think it flows well. Hate the way they spell Kaylee though, it just looks trashy. (I know the Firefly connection and all, but still.)
I would have preferred Cayley, which is the last name of a mathematician/chemist, but even that looks kind of awkward. I love the way this name sounds but I hate the way it looks on paper.
Are there any names you guys feel the same way about?

Date: 2012-12-22 02:33 am (UTC)In general I think my pet peeve names are Marley (and Marleigh/Marlee/et. al), Brinlee, and Brielle. More often than not, I also find myself disliking trendy place names. Think Bostynn, Brooklynn, Irelynn, etc.
