What is the most ~creative/unique~ spelling you have seen... of your own name or your kid(s) name(s)? Not necessarily a pretty or nice spelling, mind you lol, just something that made you go, "but... why?"

For me: I'm Jennifer. I have personally seen: Jenapher, Jennefer, Genifer and Jennafer. I also have seen it shortened to: Jenne (prn "Jen/Jenn"), Jenney, and Genny. Which leads me to: there is really no way to *spice up* Jennifer, it is what it is haha.

My son is Ryan. Last year in his class he had Reyane(*my bad, I misspelled it the first time, had to double check his class picture from last year) that was said like "Ryan." That just made me go "huh?" You can't just change the sound of letters or make them randomly silent... I mean, you can... but in this case, your child is likely being called "Ray-Ann" when their name is read.

My name is Allison. I had a friend in highschool whose name was spelled Alicynne. I have no idea whether it was her given spelling or just a highschooler trying to be "different." She was a cool chick though.

My sister-in-law is an Alicynne. Could we be talking about the same one? There can't be that many. Did you go to high school in Hawaii by any chance?

Probably not. I went to HS in Texas, about 12 years ago. She was from Michigan but came to Texas for a year. Her last name started with a V if that helps too. Probability is low, that's interesting that there are more Alicynnes walking around!
